The PLATINUM Circuit (TPC)

The PLATINUM Circuit is a premier scholastic program competition platform created for elite Senior Prep boys’ basketball programs. Designed to bring together top teams from across North America, the Circuit provides a professional and highly competitive environment for student-athletes to showcase their talents and represent their schools on a national stage.

Throughout the season, teams will participate in multiple weekend sessions featuring high-level matchups, culminating in the PLATINUM Championship, the signature event of the Circuit.

Participation in the PLATINUM Circuit is exclusive to Prep programs from Canada and the United States, ensuring that every event delivers a consistent standard of excellence and competition.


Circuit format

eligibility

To be eligible for competition in the PLATINUM Circuit:
• All players must have valid identification and be registered as a student at the same participating academic institution or online platform. Students are required to take a minimum of (2) courses/semester to be eligible to participate in the Platinum Circuit.
• ALL student athletes must be born September 1, 2006 or later to be deemed eligible. TPC will allow junior-aged players from the same programs to compete in all the sessions, including the PLATINUM Championship event. The PLATINUM Circuit reserves the right to request proof of age from a player at any time, if deemed necessary.
• A student may only play for one PLATINUM team and must participate in at least one full weekend session to be eligible for the PLATINUM Championship event.
• The Commissioner and Executive Board will review a medical/injury exception if a player has not participated in a preliminary session.
• If a student athlete transfers mid-season to another program participating in the PLATINUM circuit, that student athlete may NOT be eligible for any future PLATINUM events. The transfer’s new program can apply to the circuit Board, outlining any special circumstances for the transfer which be verified by the previous program, reviewed and voted on by the PLATINUM Executive Board.


how to register

If you are new to the PLATINUM Circuit, please complete our online application form prior to registering.

To complete the registration process, you must have the information below for your team's roster. This information is mandatory to complete the registration and register your team (maximum 15 players). Teams cannot be scheduled unless they are registered and their full roster information has been included in the registration.

  • Player first and last name
  • Player date of birth (born in 2006 or later)
  • Player jersey number


STEP 1: ROSTER REGISTRATION
Create your TeamLinkt account and register your roster. You will need to include the information above for the full roster (maximum 15 players). This information is important for the game sheets, so please ensure it is accurate.  Changes to your roster can be made through the TeamLinkt app up to the registration deadline for each session. Game sheets are then printed, so please ensure your roster information is accurate. After the session, changes can be made to the roster up to the registration deadline for the next session and so on until December 31st when the rosters lock for the remainder of the season. Any changes made to the roster after the session's registration deadline will not be reflected on the game sheet. Please note that only registered players on the rosters are eligible to participate and therefore, manual additions to rosters on game day are prohibited.

STEP 2: TPC SESSION REGISTRATION
Adding sessions after the roster registration is simple. Log back into your account and register for the session(s) you are attending. Payment for each session is required upon registration and can be made online using a credit or debit card.
PLEASE NOTE that teams MUST be registered and paid in full at least 3 weeks prior to the session date to be included in the schedule.

  • Players must be born  in 2006 or later
  • Teams must be registered at LEAST 3 weeks prior to the session. Late registrations will not be considered.
  • Teams must register online.
  • Rosters must be submitted online BEFORE the first session the team is attending
  • Teams must participate in at least 3 games to qualify for the PLATINUM Circuit Championship
  • PLATINUM Circuit Registration Fees:
    • PLATINUM Circuit Session - $950.00 (paid by credit card/debit card online when registering)
    • PLATINUM Circuit Championship - $1,000.00 (paid by credit card/debit card online when registering)​
    • All PLATINUM Circuit Sessions + Championship ($600.00 discount) - $5,150.00 (paid by credit card/debit card online when registering)
    • 3 (4) Game PLATINUM Circuit Sessions + Championship ($300.00 discount) - $4,500.00 (paid by credit card/debit card online when registering)
